ImBalance offers a 360° perspective on societal challenges related to workforce well-being. We do not believe that there is one perfect solution. That is why we have created a platform and a consultancy that tackles well-being challenges through multiple angles.
We offer different levels of consultancy services – for individuals, groups in organizations and for the organization as a whole. Each group and unit faces unique challenges and possesses particular strengths. That is why we develop tailored approaches for all types of individuals and groups. We work closely with employees, teams and larger organizational units.
Our services are pragmatic. We offer courses, coaching sessions, team building activities, exercises in community dynamics, learning materials and methodologies. Every person and group is different – and so is our process and the methods we propose.
Well-being & Terroir
– A sensual leadership lecture on the conditions for modern well-being. How do you create well-being in a time of high demands, change and constant pace?
The answer is rarely more systems — but rather better conditions.
In the lecture “Well-being & Terroir”, leadership, well-being and wine tasting are connected in a way that provides both new insights and strong perspectives. A vine only thrives under the right conditions, the same applies to people.
Through an inspiring story and a guided wine tasting, leaders are given three central perspectives:
- Terroir: The surroundings create the results. Relationships, security and clear frameworks are the cornerstones of an organic relationship. Just as you cannot grow Grenache on chalky soil, you cannot build a strong work culture in poor conditions.
- Pruning: A vine that is not pruned grows uninhibited and produces poor fruit. The same thing happens when employees are overloaded.
- Rhythms and robustness: The best wines come from vines that are challenged – but not overloaded. Likewise, a good workplace is found in the fine movement between pressure and support, and how as a leader you create robust teams without wearing them down. It is therefore about being present, supporting and common sense to thrive in development and challenges.
This lecture hits the nail on the head and the stomach, and gives leaders a new, useful and powerful metaphor for the most important thing in modern management:

Circular Leadership is a modern form of leadership, developed for this very reality.
It gives leaders a new language and new concepts to navigate complexity, create clarity in the midst of change and build organizations that can both perform and innovate.
Instead of seeking stability in an unstable world, Circular Leadership works with three ongoing movements:
The reflexive – understanding before acting
The regenerative – building energy, learning and future capacity
The systemic – seeing wholes, patterns and relationships

It is about continuously creating coherence – between people, tasks, direction and meaning.

Standing strong in a pressured world

- The world has never moved as fast as it does now. You have to bake your own bread, learn to knit, get a higher education and keep up with everything that happens on social media. Some choose to buy a campervan to travel the world while others move to Bali and work as digital nomads. The possibilities are endless – but so is the pressure.
The new active generation lives in a paradoxical reality. On the one hand, there are strong ideals of meaning, freedom and self-realization. On the other hand, performance anxiety, work pressure and social expectations that feel impossible to live up to are growing.
Identity stress and social perfectionism are growing rapidly. The constant comparative and superficial culture creates enormous pressure – especially for young people and students who are in the middle of identity development and life choices.
This course is created for precisely that reality.
The course is based on four pillars:
- Embodiment: The art of understanding the body’s signals and regulating one’s own reaction patterns.
- Empowerment: Taking ownership of one’s own life and distinguishing between what one can control and what one cannot influence.
- Relational security: Creating inner strength and space for communities where it is safe to be honest, uncertain and authentic.
- Meaning & direction: Taking small steps creates calm, clarity and motivation in an uncertain world.
After the course, students will:
